Thanks for visiting this page but, sadly, Ardgowan Books has ceased trading. Good things can come out of sad though and we are delighted that our wonderful bookstall has been taken over by the excellent Alex Brash who has renamed the business.

You will therefore still find a quality bookstall within Randall’s Antiques, 233 London Road, Glasgow. G40 1PE. The entrance though is round the corner, off Bain Street, walk through the famous ‘Barras’ metal archway onto the paved area, past The Squirrel pub, and you’ll find Randall’s warehouse. The pavement sign is outside to guide you in. Ask any trader where Randall’s is, if unsure.

You can park your car in the attended car park (£3) or mooch about for street parking — (less restrictive on Sundays).

Opening times: Saturday and Sunday, 9.30am – 4.30pm 

No matter the weather, no matter the season, a bookstall is always the perfect place to visit. You may find something you didn’t know you wanted.
